Ok, havent updated this thing for two years so I'm goig o update it now (and sum things up)!

2007: I'm a junior in high school, taking Hon. Portfolio. It's kickass because the Hon Portfolio class and AP Drawing/Portfolio were combined and I was able to hang out with the best roup of art kids in the world! I learnd a lot from everyone because we were all so different. Then, when the seniors had to graduate I was upset because they were so much fun!

2008: I was then in AP Drawing/Portfolio and it was kicking my butt in the amount of work I had to do and the deadlines were demanding. However, I finished up my portfolio in time to submit it completed! I was also taking 3 other art classes (Drawing 2 Hon, Painting, and Pritmaking) and one of my intaglio prints won 1st place in an art competition! Over the summer I recieved a 4 out of 5 on my AP portfolio, which was the best in the class! (I may sound smug, but I sure kicked butt and I'm proud of it!)

Then, the summer ended and I am now.......At Illinois State!!! I am currently majoring in Art Education and Printmaking and my AP score tested me out of a freshamn Drawing fundamentals class. I'm taking 2D right now and I am struggling to maintain an A even though I guess it is quite normal to recieve a D in the class. (Thats a sad thought) However, I need to maintain this amazing A because I am trying to get into a lvl 200 class (Intaglio I) next semester even though I don't have the Fundamental classes completed and I'll only be a second semester freshamn! EEEKK! (a mouthful and quite confusing, I know) Everything is basically working against me, but I'm working my ass off to get into the Intaglio class. I also plan on applying to the BFA program soon ... it's sortof hard to do that freshman year, so i may need to wait until next year, which sucks.

So, basically, I have many many plans for myself here at ISU and not a lot of time to breathe. Between 2D, getting into Intaglio, prepairing another portfolio to get into the BFA, and planning a trip to La Scoula Lorenzo de Medici for my sophmore summer, I'm just barely holding on for dear life!!! I'm excited about everything though, and I am having so much fun doing everything that its worth it!!!!!!Well, thats the update for now ... more details later if I feel like ranting about something specifically.
